The Oasis print by Lee Xin Li features Oasis, a former development well known for entertainment & good food. Oasis was situated next to the Singapore Indoor Stadium and former National Stadium. Opened in phases from 1969 to 1972: the most memorable structures were the three floating UFOs on the river which could be seen while traveling along the ECP. The venue witnessed numerous performances in music and art by renowned celebrities of that time. Additionally, the Chinese restaurants within the building served as popular locations for hosting traditional wedding banquets. The Oasis was demolished in 2010 along with the former National Stadium.
