The Sturdee Road print by Lee Xin Li features Sturdee Road, a road that branches out from Serangoon Road into Kerrisdale Condo, which is the site of the former Jalan Besar Estate, a cluster of SIT public housing. It connects Serangoon Road with Petain Road and Jalan Besar Road on the other side. Like some of the neighbouring roads around here, Sturdee Road is named after a well-known World War I figure: Admiral of the Fleet, Sir Frederick Charles Doveton Sturdee.
